About the Book
Do you want recipes with approachable ingredients?
Do you want recipes that can be used every day?
Do you want recipes that are simple, yet delicious?
Are you tired of books with recipes that you won't use? When I went through my first tea making book the ingredients were herbs I had no intentions on buying. It didn't make tea making approachable, and I would only make a handful of recipes! I don't want that to be you!
This book is for beginners who want to make herbs a part of their everyday lives. It's a Lifestyle. It's a Vibe.
This is your guide to creating your own herbal preparations and recreating my staples, from syrups and oxymels to tinctures and teas. Written in a conversational tone, with recipes shared from friends.
This earth day we hope to spread awareness and unity! You are cordially invited, so, pull up a chair!
Try my "Pomegranate Goji Tonic", "Hawthorn Fruit Punch", "Sunshine Tea", "Sore Throat Honey", "Immun-ition Syrup", "Fresh Flower Facial Steam, Heal N Seal oil and more.
Try my Friend's Wild Violet Syrup, Rose Infused oil, Jamaican Jerk Sauce, and Self-Heal Salve.
"Let me tell you, if I lived near this woman, I would be following her around taking notes. She is a homesteading, homeschooling, homemaking wife and mother of two who also runs her own online store, teaches online workshops, she is an author and still manages to post YouTube videos on a weekly basis." Madalyn From Small Seeds
I know that you want to eat healthier but you don't think you have the time or money needed to really change your life. You don't know where to start- it just seems like a lot, and you need clear direction..
You know you should be eating or drinking herbs you know that they can work, but you need the know how and you don't have the time to go through a course to get it! You need to pinpoint what herbs you need, you need real recipes that you and your family will enjoy and you don't have space for a big apothecary either.
That's why I created Everyday Herbs.
I wanted to answer the questions my students ask me when they first begin. I've been asked what book that I could recommend for those wanting to make their own teas. I couldn't name one.
No one wants to open up a recipe book to find that they can't make any of the recipes. No one wants to purchase an ingredient to use once. No one wants overly complicated methods either. So, they rather not start.
This is a book for the everyday person, the mom next door. You need a book that meets you at where you are now. I will guide you to making your first herbal preparations that you will use the rest of your life.
