About the Book

Every Success Has A Painful Story is a fictitious story progressively picturing the biography of David Giftone right from his childhood. David represents any other person struggling to change his or her life under difficulties. He is hope to everyone who think he or she cannot be successful in any way. Having walked through the rough roads most of his life, who knew he would be a significant figure in the society? As a poor child, he tasted all kinds of life but survived in the long run. This epic story is anonymously narrated by one of David Giftone's children. This was a story narrated to them by their father about the real life he lived before he became successful. He did this to encourage his kids not to rely on inheritance.Initially David and his family lived a very comfortable life. However, it did not take long before his father passed on leaving them under the care of their mother. His siblings barely knew anything when their father passed on. Later, as a single parent with no income, life became unbearable in the village. David successfully did his primary education but was unlucky to join any of the secondary schools available due to lack of school fee. Later they moved to the city where their mother expected to secure a job so as to meet their basic needs. In contrary, life in town did not turn as they expected. Jobs were available but only to those who had connections. She was therefore forced to wash for people, clean their houses and any other house chores in return for wages. In the process, she encountered a lot but as a mother she kept persevering until one day she got very ill and was rushed to the hospital.David and his siblings were left in the darkness at a very tender age. No food no anything. Their mother never returned from the hospital. After one month a Good Samaritan offered to accommodate David's siblings in her house. It did not take long before the landlord kicked David out of the house due to rent payment overdue. He had no idea whether her mother was dead or still alive. He became homeless and decided to join the street life. One day he came across a certain camp where he found refuge for a short period before he vanished again. He was later kidnapped and sold out to someone who subjected him to a hell of life. All his hopes and dreams faded into the darkness and he could do nothing about it. He later managed to escape and started living as a street boy in the city. Fortunately, a gentleman rescued him from the street, took him to a rehabilitation hospital in an attempt to restore his health and mental status. Thereafter, the gentleman offered to sponsor his secondary education where he passed with flying colors. He joined one of the top universities in the country under government sponsorship and later turned to be one of the wealthiest persons. However, he did not find peace until he looked for his siblings. Thereafter he came to realize that his mother was still alive and strived to make up to her until their once scattered family finally shared a roof over their heads.
