About the Author: Avnish Patel - After completing his undergraduate studies at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, Avnish went to work at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Investment Bank. Prior to graduation and full-time employment as Dresdner, he completed a Goldman Sachs Sales & Trading summer internship in Hong Kong. Avnish's experience was mainly focused on fixed income currency commodities (FICC). After working in investment banking for a year at Dresdner, he spent 2 years at Credit Suisse Investment Banking before moving on to 3 1/2 years at Audax Private Equity in Boston. Before heading off to Columbia Business School, from where he recently graduated, he spent a year exploring different entrepreneurial ventures.
