Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Leseerziehung, Note: 1,00, Universität Koblenz-Landau, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Lesekompetenz - ein von PISA, von IGLU und zahlreichen anderen Studien weit untersuchtes Feld - hat im neuen Jahrtausend mehr Wichtigkeit erlangt als je zuvor. Doch um dieses Konstrukt in seiner Bandbreite, in all seinen Facetten zu verstehen, muss man sowohl die kognitive, als auch die emotionale Seite in Betracht ziehen. Ersteres wird vom kognitionspsychologisch orientierten Modell vertreten und meint die Vorbereitung des Menschen auf ein erfolgreiches Leben im Alltag und im Beruf. Das kulturwissenschaftlich orientierte Modell hingegen beschreibt die emotionale Seite und strebt eine Persönlichkeitsbildung beim Leser an. Auch aus der Sicht der Bildungsstandards soll die Vermittlung von Lese- und Medienkompetenz unter Berücksichtigung der kognitiven, emotionalen und sozialen Aspekte geschehen. Seit PISA 2000 ist jedoch der kognitive Aspekt der Lesekompetenz, also das Leseverständnis, mehr in den Vordergrund gerückt, da eine an der Motivation ansetzende Leseförderung mit messbaren Verfahren nur schwer erfassbar ist und leseschwache Kinder von motivationalen Verfahren wie vom Viellesen kaum profitieren können. Entwicklungspsychologische Aspekte und Defizite von Schüler auf bereits basaler Ebene der Leseteilprozesse am Anfang der Sekundarstufe sprechen für ein Ansetzen der Leseförderung in der Grundschulzeit. Um jedoch eine Leseförderung in Bezug auf kognitive Aspekte anzugehen, müssen zunächst die sie sich gegenseitig beeinflussenden Teilprozesse des Leseverständnisses auf hierarchieniedriger und hierarchiehoher Ebene verstanden werden. Bereits bei der Erklärung der Prozesse wird deutlich, dass das Arbeitsgedächtnis und besonders das Vorwissen des Lesers eine außerordentlich wichtige Rolle beim Leseprozess einnehmen.
