Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2002 im Fachbereich Ingenieurwissenschaften - Kunststofftechnik, Note: 1,0, Technische Universität Clausthal (Institut für Mechanische Verfahrenstechnik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Untersuchung der elastischen Eigenschaften von PTFE mittels Dynamisch-Mechanischer Analyse (DMA) im Temperaturbereich von -150 °C bis 325 °C. Zur Charakterisierung der PTFE-Proben wurde deren Oberflächenrauhigkeit mit einem Tastschnittgerät ermittelt. An zehn Proben aus PTFE und PTFE-Compounds mit unterschiedlicher Zusammensetzung und Herkunft, wurden DMA-Messungen bei zwei Frequenzen (1 Hz, 10 Hz) und einer konstanten Amplitude (5 µm) vorgenommen. Die gemessenen Verläufe des Speichermoduls E` und des Verlustfaktors tan(Delta) liegen beim Vergleich mit Literaturwerten im zu erwartenden Bereich. Die zwei Umwandlungen in den amorphen Bereichen des teilkristallinen PTFE bei 127 °C und -97 °C, sowie die Phasenumwandlungen in den kristallinen Bereichen bei 19 °C und 35 °C, konnten nachvollzogen werden. Die bereits bekannte Abhängigkeit des Speichermoduls und des Verlustfaktors von der Frequenz und der Zusammensetzung der Proben, konnte über einen breiten Temperaturbereich für eine umfassende Anzahl reiner PTFE-Werkstoffe und PTFE-Compounds, modifiziert sowie unmodifiziert, bei zwei verschiedenen Messfrequenzen ermittelt werden. Die Messergebisse aus den DMA-Messungen wurden mit Ergebnissen aus der Literatur verglichen und eingeordnet. Nicht zugeordnet werden konnte bei allen Proben ein Dämpfungspeak im tan(Delta)-Verlauf im Temperaturbereich von 187 °C bis 280 °C.
