About the Book

Equilibrium is a physics book about the structure of the Universe. In this volume, Melanson combines Quantum Field Theory and Quantum Mechanics with General Relativity for a Theory of Everything. In this concise book, Melanson finds a negative mass for several electrons in the Principle of Influence, which are also the most important atoms for life on planet Earth. He also finds six formulas for each quark in the Strangeness of Quarks, in which he discovers an unknown boson that gives mass to all the quarks... which also unifies the Standard Model into one composite structure. He then goes on to correct Bohr's coordinates in the Periodic Pyramid, and then proves that the speed of light is not a constant with simple math. He then uses the same formula to figure out the speed of light in the solar system, as well as a universal constant based on the bow shock and the speed of light for all planets in the Universe. He then proves with simple math that quantum gravity is caused by spherical black holes in the center of planets and stars based on the Schwarzschild radius, as well as by the graviton in the center of the atom, which he finds with the simple summations of quanta, like a tug-of-war with electromagnetism based on the inverse square law for a Unified Field Theory. He also finds a simple equation that explains the relationship between mass and weight for each atom and each subatomic particle. He then finds 108 particles based on the baryons and the mesons, which are also part of the Higgs boson's mass and fields, which proves the existence of quarks. He then illustrates the fine structure constant as being comparative with the electron and the photon, as a quantum conversion of mass, which proves that electrons and photons are interchangeable. He also resolves the wave/particle duality, and the black hole information paradox with simple explanations, as well as why gravitational waves are frozen in time for the orbit of planets ad infinitum, which is also a proven mechanism, due to the coldness of the space-time continuum underneath the Earth and other planets in the solar system, whose orbital speed around the Sun is also directly related to the size of the Earth's gravitational field.Melanson then goes on to explain gravity as a quantum effect from atom to atom, and delves into the Koide Formula to further elucidate the behaviour of the electron, the muon, and the tauon. He also explains why there are ten quantum dimensions rather than three, and finds a few simple equations for the Higgs boson, whose mass is also proportional to that of Planck energy before the beginning of time. He also proves that the mass of the Higgs boson is equal to the masses of the W± and Z particles put together, and postulates that the speed of information is instantaneous throughout the Universe, no matter the distance, due to quantum entanglement, which may also make teleportation possible. This book is also divided into three parts, namely the original theory of Equilibrium, which he then combines with M-theory mathematics, along with the theoretical foundations of Loop Quantum Gravity for a Theory of Everything... In conclusion, Equilibrium is as brief as it is complete. It is easy to read and should appeal to both professor and student, full-time physicists and part-time amateurs. It is both comprehensible and accessible. It is a concrete theory from beginning to end and should add to the scientific discussion.
