Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Die Elektroindustrie in der EU muß ausgediente Elektrogeräte (Computer, Weiße Ware, Braune Ware etc.) von 2005 an kostenfrei von den Haushalten zurücknehmen und umweltschonend entsorgen. Darauf haben sich das Europäische Parlament und die EU-Regierungen im Oktober 2002 verständigt. Bis Mitte 2004 muß diese Entscheidung in nationales Recht überführt werden. Am Lehrstuhl für Logistik an der TU Berlin gibt es seit 1995 den Sonderforschungsbreich (Sfb) 281 „Demontagefabriken zur Rückgewinnung von Ressourcen in Produkt- und Materialkreisläufen", der sich mittlerweile in der 3. Periode befindet. Der Sfb unterteilt sich in 4 Bereiche. Der Projektbereich B1 „Prozesskettenbezogene Auslegung logistischer Systeme „ wird vom Lehrstuhl für Logistik betreut und beschäftigt sich mit der überbetrieblichen Vernetzung und Logistik von Demontagefabriken einerseits und mit der innerbetrieblichen Logistik und Materialwirtschaft in Demontagefabriken andererseits. Dabei wird unter anderem untersucht, ob eine zentrale oder dezentrale Struktur mehr Vorteile bringt und wie die bauliche und die funktionale Integration in die städtische Logistik organisiert werden kann. Dazu werden innerbetrieblichen Abläufe simuliert und Marktuntersuchungen gemacht. Die Diplomarbeit wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Sfb 281 geschrieben und beschäftigt sich mit dem Marketing und der Distribution von Demontageprodukten am Beispiel der Weißen Ware (Haushaltsgroßgeräte). Gang der Untersuchung: Nach der thematischen Einordnung der Arbeit folgt der Einleitungsteil, der sich mit Demontageprodukten und ihrer Rolle in der Kreislaufwirtschaft beschäftigt. Es folgt eine Einführung in die Distributionslogistik und ihre Einordnung innerhalb der Logistik. Dabei wird auf Distributionsstrategien, Distributionssysteme, Distributionspolitik und Prozessketten in der Distribution genauer eingegangen.
