Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2002 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 1,3, Hochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein (Hochschule für Wirtschaft), Veranstaltung: Neuere Ansätze des Managements, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Insgesamt gibt es in Deutschland ca. 150 Ferienstraßen und -routen, die entweder landschafts- oder themenbezogen sind. Ferienstraßen bieten Touristen die Möglichkeit, typische Lebensweisen in Deutschland kennen zu lernen. Zahlreiche touristische Routen wurden entlang historischer Trassen gelegt, die schon in früheren Jahrhunderten als Handels- und Heerstraßen genutzt wurden. Mit vielen dieser Ferienstraßen ist auch heute noch die kultur-historische Thematik verknüpft. Neben diesen thematisch angelehnten Ferienstraßen gibt es touristische Routen, die durch besonders attraktive Landschaften gekennzeichnet sind. Die Weinstraße ist die erste und bekannteste Weintouristikroute der Welt. Die Idee zur Deutschen Weinstraße und zum Weintor in Schweigen-Rechtenbach entstand im Juli 1935 in der Schweigener Gastwirtschaft "Zum Bayrischen Jäger" . Damals befanden sich vor allem die Pfälzer Winzer in einer finanziellen Zwangslage, da 1934 keine große Nachfrage nach Wein bestand. Daher entschlossen sie sich, die Weindörfer zwischen Schweigen-Rechtenbach und Bockenheim zu verbinden, um einen positiven Effekt für den Weinabsatz und den Fremdenverkehr zu erzielen. Die Deutsche Weinstraße wurde offiziell im Herbst 1935 eröffnet. Das hierfür symbolisch als Eingangspforte über die Straße erbaute Holztor wurde 1936 zum heutigen Weintor ausgebaut und am 18. Oktober des selben Jahres eingeweiht. 1995 entstand in Bockenheim als Gegenstück zum "Deutschen Weintor" das "Haus der Deutschen Weinstraße". Es markiert den nördlichen Beginn der Weinstraße, die eine Länge von 85 km hat. Sie verläuft über Grünstadt, Bad Dürkheim, Deidesheim, Neustadt, Bad Bergzabern und endet im Süden an der elsässischen Grenze in Schweigen-Rechtenbach. Sie unterteilt sich in
