Für viele AufgabensteIlungen ist die Suche nach neuen, aber auch brauchbaren Ideen eine Herausforderung, die man selbst als ein faszinierendes assoziatives Abenteuer im Kopf erkennen und erleben sollte. Der Spaß an der Aufgabe, die Begeisterung am ständigen Hin-und Herassozüeren für die Bewältigung dieser Aufgabe, aber auch erfrischende Anregungen und positive Ausstrahlungen von außen sollten dabei die gemeinsamen Wegbegleiter für eine erfolgreiche Abenteuerreise sein. Das gilt auch für diese Arbeit, die im Juli 1991 vom Fachbereich Witschaftswissenschaften der Universität des Saarlandes als Dissertation angenommen wurde. Sie ist Teil des Forschungsprojektes Computer Aided Advertising System, das derzeit unter der Leitung von Professor Dr. Werner Kroeber-Riel am Institut für Konsum-und Verhaltensforschung (Saarbrücken) durchgeführt wird. Zu großem Dank verpflichtet bin ich meinem Ideenzünder und Doktorvater Herrn Professor Dr. Werner Kroeber-Riel, der mich fürdiese Aufgabe begeisterte und zu vielen kognitiven Entdeckungs- reisen führte, weil er mir als Impulsgeber für neue gedankliche Querverbindungen stets hilfreich zur Seite stand. Danken möchte ich auch Herrn Professor Dr. Bruno Tietz, der ebenso wie mein Doktorvater die Gesamtidee im Eiltempo zu beurteilen hatte.
