Ellos transitan por los cielos del sur de Inglaterra y del norte de Francia, entre cuyas nubes un piloto espía inglés enfrenta la futilidad de su misión bélica cuando la compara con la magnificencia de sus insatisfechos deseos; por las callecitas de Buenos Aires y por el interior de las casonas de su gente pudiente, que atrapan a un veinteañero como tela de un gigantesco arácnido, por el resto de su vida; por las arterias del Berlín Occidental cercadas por un infame muro y por rojos fantasmas internos que amenazan con asaltar a un lebensborn -hoy psiquiatra- dentro de tan solo quince minutos; en los edificios y tugurios de Nueva York del Siglo XXIV, que se apresta a celebrar los seiscientos años de la Independencia Americana, de cuyas fanfarrias, un Navy Seal retirado, que portando serias secuelas de estrés postraumático, quiere huir a toda prisa; a través de la burguesa Avenida Providencia de Santiago de Chile -bastión de la oligarquía en la larga era Pinochet-, que ve transitar a un estudiante de leyes sin saber lo que el destino le tiene reservado a la vuelta de la esquina y a unos metros de la entrada al supermercado; por la autopista que conecta Chicago y Tennessee, en la cual un rubio exhippie retorna a la granja paterna, para ser recibido de una manera inusualmente amistosa por su familia; en el interior de un apartamento venido a menos en un Madrid a pocos años de la muerte de Franco, en el que un oficinista en duelo por la desaparición de su caudillo, enfrenta su amarga realidad de hombre estéril; por crepusculares avenidas suburbanas de México DF, desde las cuales insólitamente se desprende un portal que lleva directamente al Jardín del Edén y que extravían en deseos incumplidos a un joven mexicano hasta su vejez; y en una pequeña y antigua plazoleta de la ciudad escandinava de Malmö, en la cual un niño sueco de nueve años conoce el triste pasado de su abuela materna atrapada una vez en Hamburgo en 1944. La secuencia entrama una clara premisa: independiente del escenario, la precariedad del sentido de la existencia del hombre de fines del segundo milenio lo asalta indiscriminadamente y sin titubeos. Las narraciones revelan una vez más la magnífica visión humanista de Marcelo Vicente, que ya dejó ver su impronta en la novela titulada Anatomía de un terrorista, y publicada hace solo cinco meses atrás por Amazon.com. Esta visión del mundo lo conecta con un estilo literario posmoderno, que sorprenderá al lector. Nacido en Santiago de Chile, Marcelo Vicente, es un psicólogo chileno-escandinavo. En Suecia, recibe la certificación en Psicología de parte del Gobierno, después de aprender el idioma sueco y completar una extensa pasantía solicitada por el Ministerio de la Salud y Asuntos Sociales, en el Consultorio Psicosocial para Inmigrantes, de la ciudad de Gotemburgo, donde profundiza su formación en Clínica Intercultural y Derechos Humanos. Obtiene la Maestría en Creación del Guion Cinematográfico, en enero de 2017. A la fecha del lanzamiento y publicación de la novela "Anatomía de un Terrorista," Marcelo Vicente era aún un escritor inédito en el campo literario, a pesar de sus numerosas publicaciones acreditadas en el área de las Ciencias Humanas y de la Educación.
