About the Book

Destroy Mankind

She is the daughter of an alien goddess, and she wants only one thing. Destroy the man half of mankind and start afresh with her female warriors. Seen herself as a superhero by some and a supervillain by others, her followers have been called amazons, assassins, elves and even vampires, but what they really are is Moon Warriors.

Alya is the daughter of one of six alien beings, or Goddesses as they're seen by primitive humans, who visited earth millions of years ago to create intelligent life and who stuck around to protect their creations.

After surviving both the Birtman onslaught and the great flood, Full Moon city has turned into a safe island in the sea. But after a thousand years of peace, Alya has to admit that sea levels are rising and her city is doomed. She has to lead the Moon tribe back onto the mainland. There, a new kind of tribe has arrived, settling in farming towns and growing their own food. These 'planters' are taking over the lands of Alya's hunter-gatherer allies however, and Alya has to learn to control her rage in dealing with the patriarchal newcomers.

In the here and now Alya, who is now well over eight thousand years old, has found Yala, her sister. Now that they are together their powers have expanded and Alya has great plans for the fresh Moon Warrior elders who rule her city. Alicia is groomed as presidential candidate and her general Nadia is creating an army. However, to get there she has been ruthless, and even some of her own followers are not sure if they appreciate her methods.

The story starts in the present, when Alya is unexpectedly contacted by two of her sisters. At the same time, she is warned by her old mentor that her enemies are planning another attack. Meanwhile, her relationship with Lily comes to a head and Alya has only one chance to save it.

Will the attack of her ancient enemy succeed this time? Will her followers rebel against her growing number of killings? Will Alya's girlfriend leave her forever?

This story plays out both in the past and the here and now, showing Alya's life and tying her destructive rage as a fresh Goddess to her experiences in the past. Eventually she will have to choose between her fulfilling her revenge on the murderers of her tribeswomen and oppressors through the millennia, and the modern ways of her new friends.

The Moon Goddess Saga series

This series is about Alya, a girl who is put on this earth to protect creation, which according to her comes down to womankind. She is the daughter of one of six Moon Goddesses or, as seen in modern perspective, aliens, who came to earth to create life in general and humankind in particular.

Eventually Alya's mother's Moon tribe is the only one left and after saving her people, Alya's mother leaves planet earth for Alya to guard and humankind for her to rule. However, Alya has trouble keeping her own Moon tribe safe, let alone that she manages to rule humankind, as the population of earth grows out of control.

The books also tell about Alya's experiences in the present, starting just after her mother contacts her again, and finally grants her godlike powers to cull humankind. Alya gives her own interpretation to her mother's words and plans to destroy all men, who she deems responsible for the misery of women over the ages. To this end and to acquire enough power, Alya has to find her five sisters, the daughters of the other Moon Goddesses, and unite their forces.
