Diese werden anschließend im Rahmen der Erarbeitung einer Change-Story für das Unternehmen Cityracer angesprochen, um die Mitarbeiter optimal von der Relokalisierung zu überzeugen. "Veränderung ist das, was die Leute am meisten fürchten." - Dostojewski Ein kontinuierlicher Wandel ist für ein Unternehmen unerlässlich, um erfolgreich zu sein. Um diesen jedoch umsetzen zu können, wird die Unterstützung der Mitarbeiter benötigt. Wie jedoch Dostojewski im 19. Jahrhundert schon erkannte, führen Veränderungen häufig zu Besorgnis, Schock und Widerstand. Um ein Scheitern eines Veränderungsvorhabens in einem Unternehmen zu verhindern, müssen daher die Emotionen der Mitarbeiter beachtet werden. Auch für das Unternehmen Cityracer ist eine erhebliche Veränderung erforderlich, um weiterhin am Markt zu bestehen. Durch den steigenden Konkurrenzdruck in der E-Bike Branche, ist die Kostenstruktur des Unternehmens nicht mehr konkurrenzfähig. Durch die Zusammenlegung der fünf bisherigen Unternehmensstandorte an einen neuen zentrierten Standort wird dies erheblich verbessert. Eine solche Relokalisierung bedeutet allerdings eine große Veränderung für die Mitarbeiter. Diese müssen nun mit einer neuen Abteilungszusammensetzung an einem neuen Standort mit neuen Kollegen zusammenarbeiten. Um einen Widerstand zu verhindern, muss bei diesem Prozess besonders auf die Mitarbeiter eingegangen werden. Hierbei ist es wichtig, die Emotionen der Mitarbeiter in den einzelnen Phasen zu erkennen und zu verstehen. Die Erkenntnisse können dann genutzt werden, um eine überzeugende Veränderungsgeschichte zu verfassen, die die Mitarbeiter emotional zur Befürwortung und aktiven Unterstützung der Relokalisierung bewegt.
