¿Qué pasaría si todo el conocimiento sobre la cultura de Tartessos, alrededor del Valle del Guadalquivir, se basaba en una premisa equivocada?
La localización de la capital de Tartessos, no podía demorarse más: era una necesidad fundamental hoy, para su investigación, para el desarrollo turístico y cultural de Andalucía, y del suroeste de La Ibérica.
Decía Antoine de Saint-Exúpery (El Principito) que "Lo esencial, es invisible a los ojos" y así es: el cristal con el que se ha mirado la Historia, estaba distorsionado por un enorme error de partida, una premisa equivocada: la creencia de que los mapas de 100 a.C., eran los mismos que los de 1.200 a.C.,
Ha sido determinante para localizar Tartessos, el Río Tartessos, el Lago Ligustino, la Eritia, etc; no eran los que se creían.
Las referencias en los mapas actuales, son también actuales. Ese problema, no supieron resolverlo investigadores como H. Schliemann, o Adolf Schulten, porque ni siquiera sabían que existía, es decir, pensaban que lo mismo daba consultar un mapa de 100 a.C., y creían que eran los mismos "griegos", y "egipcios", de que hablaban los clásicos. No lo eran.
Así, por ejemplo, "Las Columnas", no eran peñones, sino columnas físicas colocadas por el hombre, como iconos geográficos. Al parecer, las hemos encontrado.
