Reflecting upon my childhood, and before at the age of eighteen I came to the realization through salvation that I was part of the Elect it was surrounded by sin. In the shadow and darkness of the corner of my daddy's store/illegal bar there stood a man that would pay other men to have sex with him. Many men would have ungodly sex with this man in order to take the money he gave them and buy another shot of liquor. The man in shadow and darkness was covered more the shadow and darkness that blinded his heart and eyes that night that fell upon that corner. The men that participated in this lifestyle were blinded by their darkness and in the shadow of their sinful lifestyle and there was no light in that corner nor in their heart to expose their wicked deeds. I heard that both my mama and my daddy got saved before I was born, and I hope this is true so that I can see them again in Heaven. However, their is weak evidence that Mama was part of the Elect. She bought a family Bible, and didn't allow any cursing nor drinking in the house. Daddy loved his children and would always greet them with a hug. He ran an illegal bar, and participated in gambling activities that was so close to his family's home. Mama used to say that it was a shameful thing to see her husband, his sister, and his mama all drunk at the same time.Grandma, daddy's mama, suffered from cancer, and eventually she was hospitalized in her final days. In the hospital she yelled and screamed for everyone to take her clothes for she could feel the flames of Hell coming her way. No one that surrounded Grandma could provide her any comfort and give any assurance that there was an escape through salvation. So unless somehow Grandma knew what to say in those final moments she was not part of the Elect and was thrown out of the hands of an angry GOD. For the Bible teaches that it is a fearful thing to be in the hands of an angry GOD.In Bible College, to provide for my wife and myself, I worked at a local grocery store with an older Jewish man. I witnessed to him with every opportunity I had and saw no fruit of his salvation. The Bible teaches that Jewish people will be a friend to the Bride and 144,000 will be separated and saved during the tribulation so they will be part of the Elect of GOD; however, that man did not have that security.I visited two men at two separate times in my life, and both times I could sense and feel the Spirit of the Anti-Christ. I knocked on this man's door and introduced myself to him. After many attempts of failed witnessing to him he told me that the church was full of phony Christians and didn't want to have anything to do with them. I told him that if I die to come and see me and he will see a real Christian. A married woman that attended the church I pastored asked me to visit her husband. I tried to give him some gospel tracts which he threw to the floor. He got up and went to the bathroom, and few minutes later he had died while in the bathroom. When I worked at a factory, my wife and I had one car. She needed the car for our boys. I managed to get a ride home in the afternoon by a man who took every opportunity that I witnessed to him to tear down my faith. I felt like those three men that were put in the fiery furnace. Like them I wasn't burnt for the LORD had not allowed the flames of his fire to touch me either. The man and his wife would spend their nights getting drunk.My father-in-law by many would say that he was a good man and maybe even a good Christian man. He turned an old store on his farm into a church. He donated supplies to another church for the construction of buildings for their school. However, he was abusive to his wife and children. He had a son that spent many years in and out of prison. GOD'S Law requires an inward and outward conformity to be part of the elect and many of these individuals did not show in their lives examples of being part of the elect.
