Con "El tesoro de las sombras" nos presenta su noveno libro poético, un espacio desde el cual el verso libre y la prosa poética se desparraman por el papel como disparos de fuego que son lanzados, como fogonazos de luz, sobre la conciencia del lector. No en vano, el subtítulo del libro de poemas no nos lleva a engaño: "Escritos a la humanidad". Una humanidad a la que el poeta contempla casi como si ésta estuviera condenada a desenvolverse en un fondo de reptiles, en el que el autor se ve obligado a habitar.

Sin duda, una visión pesimista que Fran Sierra embellece con su mirada humanista, una mirada que pervive a pesar del caos con el que se manifiesta y en el que se descifra: "las azules indican el fuego y el mar, /el ahogamiento de las penas y las alegrías en un buen trago dentro de la soledad y un cigarrillo alumbrando/la penumbra de mi vida, /el caos en mi cabeza: /"dice un buen amigo mío" /"-que soy un descerebrado encantador-"

Estamos ante un libro donde la verdad subjetiva del autor se palpa en unos versos desde los que fluye una poesía onírica con implicaciones sociales evidentes que, al fin, son las que marcan la unidad temática de la obra.
