About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

The latest and most anticipated installment by the great author of "spaghetti crime" novels: Sandrone Dazieri. A star in the European noir genre alongside Lemaitre and Dicker.

After a terrible snowstorm, former Deputy Commissioner Colomba Caselli finds Tommy in her storage room, an autistic boy who is freezing and in a state of shock, smeared with blood, but with no signs of injuries. She soon discovers that Tommy is the only survivor of his parents' murder, and also the main suspect.

It's been a year and a half since Colomba left the police force and since then, she spends hours trying to recover from the day when a strange man almost killed her and kidnapped Dante Torre, whom she would call a soulmate. She wonders where Dante is. Is he still alive? And who is the King of Gold? Colomba has no alternative but to return to what may be her last and riskiest case.

The Italian thriller master surpasses himself in this extraordinary installment that puts an end to the series which starts the best partner investigators of current noir novels.
About the Author: Sandrone Dazieri nació en 1964 en Cremona (Italia).
