En esta novela corta, Martin Balarezo Garcia narra la historia de un nino racista que va madurando no solo al ir creciendo, sino tambien por sus enriquecedoras y dilematicas vivencias. El protagonista de esta novela durante su ninez estuvo influenciado por el racismo de su padre y por una sociedad tambien racista, donde los paganos son quienes mas tienen de una herencia ancestral que debe ser respetada. En este ameno relato de principio a fin se describen algunas situaciones dramaticas y otras jocosas y divertidas, pero todas giran en torno a este pequeno racista que va creciendo y que las circunstancias y su propia cavilacion le permiten concluir que el racismo aleja al ser humano de su evolucion. Acompane a este nino a descubrir su despertar a la adolescencia; sea participe de lo que va sintiendo al darse cuenta de que estuvo mal influenciado y de que hay maneras de lograr que prevalezca la sensatez en un mundo que no es tan sensato. Como en toda novela, la ficcion y la creatividad literaria le dan forma, aunque esta basada en algunas experiencias del autor y en el tema del racismo en su pais que siempre le llamo la atencion, entre otros que tambien aborda durante el relato."
About the Author: Martin Balarezo Garcia nacio en la ciudad de Lima, Peru, el 8 de enero de 1961. Actualmente reside en el condado de Fairfax, del estado de Virginia, en los Estados Unidos de America. Su primera obra, Reflexiones trascendentales, fue auspiciada en 1989 por el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia del Peru, donde presenta numerosos ensayos de contenido filosofico, social y cientifico y mas de 300 reflexiones cortas. En 1991 fue invitado como expositor a la VII Convencion de Instituciones Peruanas realizada en Washington, D.C. con el tema Causas y efectos de la emigracion peruana. En 1994 publico la novela Suenos de un ilegal, donde narra las aventuras de un escritor peruano que decidio emigrar a EE.UU. al ser acosado por los guerrilleros terroristas de su pais. Su cuento Una ventana hacia el gran imperio, donde relata las aventuras de dos pequenos hermanos que llegan a contactarse misteriosamente con un imperio incaico evolucionado, fue seleccionado entre las mejores narraciones en el concurso convocado en 1998 por el Instituto de Cultura Peruana de Miami. Su guion cinematografico Mortal Genesis (Genesis mortal), acerca de una organizacion neonazi internacional que ha desarrollado un virus con intenciones de controlar el mundo, fue seleccionado en 2003 a cuartos de final en el importante concurso de Hollywood organizado por The Writers Network. En 2009, su novela El sendero de las guerrillas quedo finalista en el Premio de Novela Diario El Comercio de Peru, en la cual narra sucesos que van mas alla de los inicios de la subversion de Sendero Luminoso y el Movimiento Revolucionario Tupac Amaru en el Peru. Ha publicado la novela corta El racista, donde aborda el tema del racismo en el Peru, y sigue creando proyectos literarios."
