About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION A moving autobiographical novel about the art of living and being a grandfather. The joy of living is set in childhood; all of life that follows stems from this first feeling or way of looking at what happens to us. This book narrates two childhoods: that of the grandchild and that of the author, the grandfather. The two intertwine in a simple investigation about the surprise with which a child begins his relationship with others and with reality: numbers, an elevator, the day, the sea, goodbyes. It's like being led by the hand through a gallery of his memories as the grandfather talks about his first love, about a knife, and about the whole world...
