About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION If I'm good at anything, it's waging war... The Extradited paints a merciless portrait of Benjamín Arellano Félix, commander in chief of the Tijuana Cartel, one of the most powerful criminal organizations during the decade of the '90s. From an intimate perspective, the story shows the direct testimony of the protagonist--the first time that a Mexican mob boss offers his version of the events after extradition from the United States. With a dizzying style, and always free of moral judgments, Juan Carlos Reyna unfolds a striking chronicle where the voice of the main character converges with previously unpublished information from different judicial records. Thus, the reader can discover hidden details in the story of drug trafficking, such as the shoot-out at the Christine nightclub, the assassination of Cardinal Posadas Ocampo, or the arrest of Benjamín Arellano himself in Puebla.
