No dudó en enfrentarse a los servicios de inteligencia o a las presiones de los políticos hispanos de Chicago y pasó largas temporadas protestando frente al rancho de George W. Bush y la Casa Blanca. En el camino se encontró con una verdad aún más difícil de aceptar.
About the Author: Gustavo Sierra was born in Buenos Aires in 1956. He has been practicing journalism for twenty-seven years. He has been the chief editor for the International Political section of the daily ClarIn. He has covered wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the elections in the United States and Mexico. He has been a White House correspondent and the head in the Washington office for the Spanish sections of the CBS and NBC networks. He was also one of the founders of CNN en Español and was their lead writer in Atlanta. He has also been a correspondent for Univision in the US, Chile, and Argentina, and was the profile editor in London and New York, and the editor for Latin-American Services at the Associated Press in New York. He has won the Hubert H. Humphrey grant for North-South Understandings and has a master's in journalism from Boston University.
