Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Theoretische (Erkenntnis, Wissenschaft, Logik, Sprache), Note: 11 Punkte, Universität Kassel (Fachbereich Philosophie), Veranstaltung: Das Böse im Philosophieunterricht, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit soll versucht werden, zwei Möglichkeiten zu präsentieren, wie Martens' Methoden im Philosophieunterricht angewandt werden könnten. Dabei soll sich erstere an einer Thematik orientieren, die mit Hilfe von Texten bearbeitet werden soll, letztere soll einem freieren Philosophieren gewidmet sein. In der deutschen Schulbildungslandschaft wird spätestens seit dem PISA-Schock eine Debatte um den Kompetenzerwerb geführt, welcher nicht zuletzt mit den Kerncurricula in den Vordergrund rückte. Der Schulunterricht soll sich stärker als bisher an messbaren Ergebnissen orientieren. Die Rolle der Schule ist dabei im Wandel, sie ist nicht mehr nur als eine Institution der reinen Wissensvermittlung anzusehen. Den Lernenden sollen zudem grundlegende Kompetenzen vermittelt werden. Diese sollen die Schülerinnen und Schüler dazu befähigen, sich in einer demokratischen Gesellschaft zurechtzufinden und aktiv zu beteiligen. Die neuen Kerncurricula benennen in diesem Zusammenhang eine Vielzahl von Kompetenzen, wie Empathiefähigkeit, Sozialkompetenz, oder interkulturelle Kompetenz. Dabei wird mehr und mehr angenommen, dass der Ethik- bzw. Philosophieunterricht, aufgrund seiner strukturellen und thematischen Konzeption, diese gut vermitteln kann, unter anderem, weil er offen für alltägliche Problemstellungen und schülerorientiert ausgerichtet ist. Heutige Kompetenzen zielen darauf ab, dass die Lernenden in die Lage versetzt werden, Probleme zu diskutieren, mit gegebenen Argumenten zu arbeiten und eigene zu entwickeln, eine Fähigkeit, die sich viele Fächer zum Ziel setzen.
