Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Germanistik, Note: 1,0, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die hier vorliegende Arbeit zielt darauf, die lernwirksamen Einsatzmöglichkeiten des Computers in den Sekundarstufen zu konkretisieren, um der in internationalen Studien konstatierten Benachteiligung des Computers entgegenzuwirken. Dabei möchte ich der Frage nachgehen, welches fachdidaktische Potential dem Computer als unterrichtliches Medium innewohnt, sowohl als Lernmedium für den Schreibprozess als auch als Lerngegenstand zur Ausbildung der Medienkompetenz. Der Computer ist für einen Großteil der Schüler*innen ein alltägliches Medium, mit dem sie täglich spielen, surfen, chatten und arbeiten. Während diese Benutzung vorrangig im privaten Umfeld stattfindet, wird der Computer in der Schule bloß sehr zurückhaltend als produktives Werkzeug verwendet. Diese sehr skeptische Betrachtung der technischen Möglichkeiten seitens der Lehrer*innen führt zu einem "diametrale[n] Widerspruch zu den Mediengewohnheiten der Schüler(innen)" (Frederking, Krommer und Maiwald 2012, 229). In zahlreichen Statistiken wird diese Aversivität deutscher Schulen in der Nutzung aktueller Technik seit einigen Jahren häufig angemerkt. So kommen laut aktueller Studienergebnisse in Deutschland auf 11,5 Schüler*innen nur ein Computer. Deutschland belegt im internationalen Vergleich der Häufigkeit der Computernutzung durch Lehrpersonen im Unterricht den letzten Platz, da in keinem anderen der teilnehmenden Länder der Computer so selten wie in Deutschland verwendet wird. Hierin wird die enorme Lücke zwischen der privaten und schulischen Nutzung von Computern deutlich. Betrachtet man die didaktischen Möglichkeiten des Computers für den Unterricht, wirkt die Skepsis der Schulen vor diesem Medium unbegründet.
