Das interaktive Whiteboard bietet die Möglichkeiten aller einsetzbaren Medien und somit den größeren Mehrwert, so z.B. - Die jederzeit mögliche Reproduktion und Aktualisierung der Tafelbilder durch Lehrer - Die Darstellung kann beliebig oft, egal wann wiederholt werden. - Beim Unterrichten mit dem interaktiven Whiteboard lässt sich das Schuljahr ganz ein-fach und genau dokumentieren, was zu einer erheblichen Qualitätsverbesserung des Unterrichts führt. - Wenn ein Schüler etwas nicht verstanden hat, kann in den Tafelbildern zurückgeblättert werden und die kurze Animation oder den Klick auf eine Internetseite wiederholt werden. - Die Seitenzahl des Whiteboards ist unbegrenzt, jederzeit kann auf bereits ausgearbeite-te Unterrichtsmaterialien zugegriffen werden. - Es kann Fachbücher und Arbeitsblätter nicht ersetzen, aber in sehr sinnvoller Weise ergänzen. Die Schüler können damit leichter komplizierte Inhalte begreifen. In den Schulen jedoch hält diese Technik erst langsam Einzug. War die grüne Tafel ein De-monstrationsinstrument für den Lehrer im Frontalunterricht, so sei die interaktive Wand heute viel mehr ein Instrument der Schüler, beispielsweise um ihre Arbeiten zu präsentieren.
