Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Mathematik, Note: 1,3, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Didaktik der Mathematik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit ist in zwei große Kapitel unterteilt. Das erste Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit der Sachanalyse, das die wichtigen Strukturen und Beziehungen des Unterrichtsgegenstands aufzeigen soll. Dabei wird zunächst im Abschnitt 2.1. die Frage nach der Legitimation und den Zielen des Geometrieunterrichts nachgegangen. Die allgemeinen Ziele orientieren sich an der Idee eines gängigen Geometrieunterrichts und gliedern sich in drei Punkte auf: Geometrie und die Erschließung der Welt, Geometrie und die Grundlagen des wissenschaftlichen Denkens und Arbeitens, Geometrie und Problemlösen. Da aber die allgemeinen Ziele nur mit Hilfe von spezifischen Inhalten erreicht werden können, werden im nächsten Punkt (2.1.2 Inhaltsspezifische Ziele des Geometrieunterrichts) drei wichtige inhaltsspezifische Ziele angesprochen: Verständnis geometrischer Begriffe und ihrer Eigenschaften, Lernen geometrischer Denk- und Arbeitsweisen, Erkennen der Beziehung zwischen Geometrie und Wirklichkeit. Im Abschnitt 2.2 wird aufgezeigt, wie sich die Geometrie historisch gesehen entfaltet hat. Dabei wird die Entwicklung von Vorstellungen über geometrische Ausdrücke im Laufe der Geschichte der Geometrie betrachtet (2.2.1. Von der Erdmessung zur Wissenschaft). Sowohl die Ägypter als auch die Griechen mit Thales haben wichtige Erkenntnisse festgestellt, die die Geometrie stark geprägt haben. Euklid fasste dann das gesamte geometrische Wissen seiner Zeit in seinen Elementen zusammen. Im Unterpunkt 2.2.2. Der Geometrieunterricht wird darauf hingewiesen, dass die eigentliche Intention des Geometrieunterrichts, nämlich ein tieferes Verständnis von geometrischen Zusammenhängen zu erhalten, in der Unter- und Mittelstufe schwierig ist umzusetzen.
