Schulpolitik, Note: 2,0, Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Qualitätsfrage hat sich in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland mittlerweile - abgesehen von einigen anderen Bereichen wie z.B. der Sozialen Arbeit - auch im Schul- und Bildungswesen zu einem zentralen Thema entwickelt, welchem immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit zuteil wird. Gerade vor dem Hintergrund international vergleichender Schulleistungsstudien wie IGLU, TIMSS oder PISA sind Maßnahmen zur Evaluation und Qualitätsentwicklung innerhalb des Bildungssystems verstärkt in den Focus von Politik und Öffentlichkeit gerückt. Mittlerweile wird von den Schulen erwartet, dass sie sich durch innovatives pädagogisches Handeln, Qualitätsbewusstsein, Zukunftsfähigkeit sowie Effizienz in pädagogischer und ökonomischer Hinsicht auszeichnen (vgl. Schnoor: 2006: 23). Im Zuge dieser Entwicklung wurde durch das Ministerium für Kultus, Jugend und Sport Baden- Württemberg im Rahmen der Evaluationsverordnung vom 01. August 2008 die Evaluation in Form von Selbst- und Fremdevaluation für alle öffentlichen Schulen in Baden-Württemberg verpflichtend eingeführt (vgl. Ministerium für Kultus, Jugend und Sport Baden-Württemberg 2008). Für die Einführung von Qualitätsmanagement zur Umsetzung der Evaluationsverordnung, oder gar zum Erhalt einer Zertifizierung des QM-Systems stehen den Schulen umfangreiche Leitfäden und Handreichungen zur Verfügung. Allerdings erfordert dies auch eine entsprechende Sachkompetenz, da sonst bei der Einführung und Durchführung des Qualitätsmanagements zu viele Fehler begangen und keine Wirkungen erzielt werden, wodurch dieses Vorhaben unweigerlich zum Scheitern verurteilt wäre (vgl. Dubs 2005: 197). Darüber hinaus sind im Vorfeld der Einführung umfangreiche Planungen notwendig.Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich mit Qualitätsmanagement in baden-württembergischen Schulen auseinander.
