Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Theaterwissenschaft, Tanz, Note: 2,3, Freie Universität Berlin (Theaterwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Seminar: Einführung in die Aufführungsanalyse, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Zusammenhang von Kostumen und Charaktereigenschaften von Moliéres Komödie" Der eingebildete Kranke". Als Analysegrundlage dient hierbei eine Aufführung der Schaubühne Berlin vom 19. Janaur 2017. "Molières letztes Stück ist eine große Charakterstudie über einen Mann, der mit seinem Wahn und seiner Egomanie sein ganzes Umfeld beherrscht, und eine scharfe Analyse der Mechanismen der Manipulation und des Betrugs." So beschreibt die Schaubühne im Repertoire auf ihrer Website kurz, was den Zuschauer bei einem Besuch der Aufführung erwartet. Michael Talheimer führte innerhalb dieser Inszenierung die Regie und setzte hiermit seine Arbeit an Molière fort. Die Kostüme wiederum setzte Michaela Barth in Szene. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Aufführung, bei der der Autorin die Konzipierung der Kostüme, wie auch die ausdrucksstarken Charaktere der beteiligten Figuren, besonders auffielen. Dies inspirierte sie dahingehend, sich mittels dieser Hausarbeit mit diesen Zusammenhang bildenden Aspekten zu befassen und sich der Untersuchung folgender Fragestellung zu widmen: Inwiefern spiegeln sich die Charaktereigenschaften der Figuren Argan, Angélique und Toinette aus Molieres Komödie "Der Eingebildete Kranke''in der Konzeption ihrer Kostüme wieder? Bei der Aufführung traf die Autorn die Assistentin der zuständigen Kostümbildnerin in dieser Produktion. Sie erklärte sich bereit, Fragen zu den besagten Bühnenkostümen zu beantworten. Zuerst wird diese Arbeit deshalb die dramatische Komödienhandlung zusammenfassen. Darauf folgt ein Charakteranalyse der oben genannten Figuren, bevor kurz auf die Gestaltung und Konzipierung der Bühnenkostüme mittels der Erläuterungen, in Form des Interviews, eingegangen wird, um dann abschließend
