Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Allgemeine Didaktik, Erziehungsziele, Methoden, Note: 14 (1,0), Philipps-Universität Marburg (Institut für Erziehungswissenschaft), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der mehrfach preisgekrönte Dokumentarfilm "Rhythm is it!", über das groß angelegte Tanzprojekt mit Berliner Kindern und Jugendlichen, den Berliner Philharmonikern und dem renommierten britischen Choreographen Royston Maldoom, erregte viel positives Aufsehen und hat die Diskussion und die Realisierung von Tanzprojekten mit Schüler_innen sehr vorangetrieben . Die Kunstform Tanz trägt laut Tanzkünstlern, Tanzpädagogen und kulturellen Bildungseinrichtungen viele Potenziale zur Persönlichkeits- und Sozialentwicklung mit sich: Tanzen fördere das Selbstvertrauen und die soziale Kompetenz, Tanz entwickele kreative Fähigkeiten, Tanzen überwinde sprachliche Barrieren.. In Deutschland sind Schülerinnen und Schüler immer mehr dazu angehalten, sogenannte Schlüsselkompetenzen während der Schulzeit zu erwerben, welche ihnen eine positive und aktive Lebensgestaltung ermöglichen sollen. Können Tanzprojekte in Schulen hierzu einen Beitrag leisten? Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht diese Frage anhand der Analyse und pädagogischen Reflexion des Berliner Tanzprojektes Carmina Burana von 2006, das ebenfalls unter der Leitung von Royston Maldoom stattfand. Carmina Burana ist ein Nachfolgeprojekt des von Rhythm is it! verfilmte Le sacre du printemps-Tanzprojekt. Von Interesse sind bei der pädagogischen Reflexion des Projektes und Maldooms pädagogischen Herangehensweise die Lernprozesse, Lernerfolge, und die Wirkungen des Tanzprojektes hinsichtlich wichtiger Schlüsselkompetenzen bei den Schüler_innen. Ich konzentriere mich bei den Ausführungen auf Jugendliche einer teilnehmenden Hauptschule aus einem sogenannten Brennpunktviertel aus Kreuzberg, weil mich besonders die Wirkungen auf diese Schülerinnen und Schüler interessieren.
