My name is Dr. Ramon Johnson. I have over 25 years of experience in public education. I have been a teacher, an assistant principal, principal, and adjunct professor. If one might think that the education is not a political business, then you are fooling yourself. Each year in every state, there are debates about how much to fund public education. The budget for public education is the largest percentage of that state's budget. Therefore, other services and agencies are always trying to find ways to shrink the education budget and therefore tend to criticize the work that the educators do to educate the students that they serve.
