About the Book

The Seventh Edition of Effective Project Management provides updated and expanded coverage of all major project management techniques, including traditional, agile, and extreme. This Seventh edition adds more than 100 pages of new content---in part based on feedback from professors who have adopted the current edition---plus consolidation of content in other areas. The author retains his winning approach to the material, which includes step-by-step processes, and related tools and templates to support both practitioners and students.
Highlights of the new edition include:
• Coverage of the newly released PMBOK 5 body of knowledge
• Enterprise Project Management Model (EPMM) (new Ch13)
• A replacement of Project Portfolio Management Process (EPM6e Ch13) with Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Process (EPM7e Ch14)
• Lean Agile Project Management
• Coverage of Kanban and Scrumban methodologies
• Expansion of the Enterprise PSO to support EPMM
• Enriched collateral materials:
• Integrate additional lecture slides
• Enriched case study exercises
• Improved chapter discussion questions

As with previous editions of this book, the author provides readers---both professionals and students--with a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to effective project management techniques, including in-depth case studies. He presents the pros and cons of these methods so readers can decide the best method for managing specific types of projects. The author also shows how to select and use best-of-breed project management tools and templates for each management task.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
