About the Book

Eden's Angels and Demons is a three-part series featuring twin teenagers Zak and Sarah (Zee and Say) who have been blessed with a Mighty Angel that they can summon through prayer. Their four cousins have been taken by Sargon, the eldest son of the dark lord of Hades, and are being held in a mine in the Remnant Forest and forced to mine for ore to make weapons for Sargon's demon army. Their quest is to rescue their cousins from a forest very few people know exists, the Remnant Forest. To get to the Remnant Forest they first trek through King's Forest and through the dangerous Crossing that connects the two forests. The Crossing has trails, that open and close for them attempting to keep them away from dark souls (Demonites) who attempt to stop them from entering the Remnant Forest through the Passage of the Realms at the end of the Crossing. The Twins meet a Saint, a Magi, half-men (Minianites), Eli the leader of the Remnant Forest who dwells in the Tent of Meeting, horned white lions, brothers Sam and Dan who are the army leaders of the tribesmen and many others. They all help them fight Sargon, Demonites, demon warriors, Sinisters (a special breed of demon warriors), saber wolves and a never-before-seen weapon only Sargon and his brother Cyrus can use. Hope of Eden follows the twins from their birth in the United States through their teenage years in Scotland where they frequently visit their cousins in Shy Valley and explore King's Forest. Eden is an island off the coast of Scotland in the North Sea and houses King's Forest, the Crossing and the Remnant Forest. Shy Valley is one of four valley's on Eden where pub and general store owners, the Robert's and Hick's couples possess ancient scrolls that tell the story of the first war on Eden three-thousand years earlier. They've been visited by a mysterious traveler who gave them more scrolls to decipher and who also left behind a small package. Zak and Sarah's mother has been bequeathed a small package as well and another package fell into the hands of the dad of the local school bully, Victor, who has two sidekicks that belittle students with him. The Twins are his sworn enemies because they don't back down from him, but instead they pray for him. The twins learn about three rings (the Rings of Eden) that were worn by King David whom King's Forest is named for. King David wore them in battle three-thousand-years earlier and defeated Sargon and his demon army before they could destroy Eden. The Rings of Eden were found in the Tree of Life by David's shield bearer during the first war of Eden and they gave the wearer invincibility in battle. Sargon has returned for revenge in an effort to once again destroy Eden, the Tree of Life and find the Rings of Eden for his father the lord of Hades. The Twins learn about the Guardians of the Forest, Solomon the Bird of Wisdom, Bushes of Fire, underwater caverns, a three-story living heart that keeps the Remnant Forest alive, springs that are always warm, a vine swing in the forest, a slide of mud, the Window of History, angels, demons, undaunted faith, prayer, hope and loyal friendship as they face-off against the evil of Sargon and his demonic army.
