Tamanho. Na década de 2010, o produto interno bruto do Sudoeste Asiático era equivalente a US$3,1 trilhões ao ano; o valor da agricultura foi de US$113,7 bilhões; o valor da indústria foi de US$1,1 trilhões.
Produtividade. Na década de 2010, o produto interno bruto per capita era de US$12 257,5; a agricultura per capita era de US$446,9; a indústria per capita era de US$4 306,4. Como a produtividade está entre a média e acima da média, a economia é classificada como desenvolvida.
Crescimento. Na década de 2010, o crescimento do PIB foi de 3,9%; o crescimento da agricultura foi de 2,2%; o crescimento da indústria foi de 3,4%.
Estrutura. Na década de 2010, a economia do Sudoeste Asiático era composta pelos seguintes setores: indústria (42,4%), serviços (23,4%), agricultura (10,9%), comércio (9,9%), construção (7,7%), transportes (5,7%).
Exportações e importações. Na década de 2010, as exportações foram 23,8% superiores às importações, as exportações líquidas foram iguais a 8,8% do PIB.
Consumo e reprodução. A atitude de reprodução ao consumo não é melhor do que a média global, portanto a participação do PIB no mundo não aumentará.
