About the Book

In den letzten Jahren ermoglichten neue Technologien einen grossen Fortschritt im Bereich der Dieselmotorentwicklung. Eine der wichtigsten Entwicklungen ist das Common-Rail System, welches eine flexible, arbeitspunktabhangige Einspritzung ermoglicht. Dank dieser Technik erreichen Fahrzeuge mit modernen Dieselmotoren scharfste Abgasnormen bei geringem Verbrauch und einer hohen Leistung. Um diese technischen Fortschritte nutzen zu konnen, musste die Leistungsfahigkeit der Motorsteuerungen ebenfalls deutlich gesteigert werden. Dadurch ergeben sich neue Anforderungen in der Entwicklung. Neben dem in der Automobilindustrie ublichen Kosten- und Zeitdruck, erfordert die hohe Komplexitat neue Wege. Dazu werden verstarkt Modelle des Motors, des Antriebsstrangs sowie des gesamten Fahrzeuges eingesetzt, um aufwendige Prufstandsversuche zu minimieren und somit Kosten zu senken. Im Mittelpunkt der Arbeit steht die Entwicklung eines Motormodells fur den Hardware-in-the-Loop Einsatz, speziell fur Common-Rail Dieselmotoren. Das Vorgestellte Modell des Common-Rail Dieselmotors erlaubt eine flexible Einspritzung in der Simulation und damit auch eine dynamische Berechnung des Brennverlaufs und des resultierenden Energieumsatzes. Besonders fur den Einsatz im Hardware-in-the-Loop Bereich ist die Echtzeitberechnung der Verbrennung zwingend notwendig. Diese Problematik und die Berechnung des Modells in Echtzeit werden ebenfalls betrachtet. Daneben wird die gesamte Motordynamik naher erlautert und in das Modell integriert. Ein weiterer Punkt zur Verbesserung der dieselmotorischen Verbrennung bei Common-Rail Motoren stellt eine Optimierung des Einspritzprozesses selbst dar. Erst dadurch wird die Erfullung noch strengerer Abgasnormen moglich. Durch Mehrfacheinspritzungen kommt es jedoch zu Druckschwankungen innerhalb des Einspritzsystems, wodurch nicht immer die gewunschte Kraftstoffmenge eingespritzt wird. Ein im Rahmen der Arbeit entwickelter Drucksensor zur nicht invasiven Druckmessung des Einspritzdruckverlaufs dient der Kontrolle und Regelung der Einspritzung. Neben dem Aufbau des Sensors erfolgt eine Einfuhrung in die notwendige Signalverarbeitung. Als Beispiel fur den Einsatz von Modellen im Entwicklungsprozess wird eine modellbasierte Anti-Ruckel Regelung vorgestellt. Basierend auf zwei verschiedenen Modellen des Antriebsstrangs erfolgt der Aufbau der Regelung mit Hilfe eines Smith-Pradiktor Ansatzes. Mittels Testfahrten in einem Versuchsfahrzeug werden die verschiedenen Ansatze erprobt. Eine abschliessende Betrachtung der Ergebnisse zeigt, dass das gewahlte Konzept eine Verbesserung gegenuber dem heutigen Stand der Technik im Bereich der Anti-Ruckel Regelung bringt.
