About the Book

SYNOPSIS: REALMS OF SHALLOW GRAVE Four days to Christmas. Anne, a widow and a crime scene TV reporter was attacked by two assailants with a black G30 Chevrolet van. Her car somersaulted upside down before she was rescued and taken to the hospital by Gerry, a black African and a medical surgeon.Similar attack on Hector (Anne's father in-law) by this same van and the murder of Susan (Anne's mother in-law) in her office the same day quickly established a vendetta later translated to family cleansing when Allan, Chairman of DC&T, accused of killing Susan his younger sister was also murdered in his country home when placed under house arrest by NYPD.Gerry had no choice than to continue to shield Anne and her seven years old whiz kid son nicknamed Pinto, a music prodigy. Gerry's music plan for Pinto well braced by Anne created a conduit for the two to fall in love.Towards tying a nuptial knot with Anne, Gerry introduced her and Pinto to Covenant Baptist Church, a predominantly Black African Church in New York where they all naively had covenants with God. The assassins finally tricked Gerry to Italy to carry out their major onslaught on Davenport and Holtgang's families; killing Pinto while practicing on his grand piano. They also attacked Hector; killing 15 of his trained guards. With five major evidences in NYPD's kitty, Gerry was arrested for the murder of Pinto, Agent Thomas and fifteen others when he returned.During Pinto's burial service, riot ensued by Pinto's fans leading to breakdown of law and order. They vented their anger on Black Africans and drivers of every black vans spotted. Eighty-three people mostly Black Africans lost their lives in the riot. While Gerry was in police custody, Anne sneaked out of United States in company of Gerry's brother and his attorney to attend the burials of the thirty six ANC members in South Africa and the twenty eight Nigerian choristers who lost their lives in the riot. In South Africa, Anne's covenant with God was fulfilled when she addressed leaders of frontline states and crowd of mourners, mostly women in Soweto. As Gerry was finally sentenced to life imprisonment for complicity in some of the murders, Anne delivered a baby boy. Suddenly, Pennsylvania prison was attacked by a strange disease called Jonjon virus-named after John Johnson, the first inmate to have contacted the disease. Infecting more than 200 inmates, the disease was also noticed in three states and six countries.God finally fulfilled Gerry's covenant using him with synergy of six other colleagues to produce herbal vaccine. Similarly, Anne, despaired by the storm that ravaged her home, vibrating the lid of Pinto's Grand Piano became bold-opening the lid of the piano to find one of Pinto's demo cassette tapes that she played out of curiosity. Wow, it was a groundbreaking revelation as Anne listened to the dialog between Pinto and his assailants the way it was recorded when Pinto was taken unaware. The dialog gave out the name of one Camille as the brain behind all the killings. Her confession was heart rendering-incriminating presumed innocent people. Gerry and the six inmates were finally released amidst jubilation.
