Magali y sus amigos caen de la montaña y aterrizan junto a un río. Balseros pasan a su lado. Los ojos de los animales se iluminan.
―Tenemos que hacer eso ―dijo Enrique La Liebre.
―Absolutamente ―dijo F-F-Foxy.
―Estoy de acuerdo ―dijo Zorrito.
La marmota miró el agua que corría a toda velocidad.
―Sabes, soy una marmota. No creo que...
―Entonces, nos vemos mañana ―dijo Enrique La Liebre.
El grupo se reúne todos los días junto al río para practicar. Un día, se encuentran con un jabalí con un hocico muy largo. Dice que él y sus compañeros son los balseros más rápidos.
Los amigos de Magali se echan a reír.
- ¿Los mejores? ¿Vosotros? Ja, ja. NOSOTROS somos los mejores.
¿Acompañará Magali a sus amigos y les ayudará a vencer al jabalí la noche de la competición? ¡Ni siquiera sabe si puede nadar!

Magali and her mates fall off the mountain and land by a river. Rafters woosh past. The animals' eyes light up.
'We've got to do that, ' said Henri Le Hare.
'You said it, ' said F-F-Foxy.
'Right on!' said Little Foxy.
The marmot looked at the fast-rushing water. 'You know, I'm a marmot. I don't think...'
'So, let's meet tomorrow, ' said the hare.
The group meet at the river each day to practice. One day, they encounter a boar with a really long snout. He says that he and his mates are the fastest rafters.
Magali's friends burst into laughter. 'You? Ha! WE are the best.'
Will Magali help her friends beat the boar on Race Night? She's not even sure she knows how to swim!
