About the Book

The book is about two people who left their busy lives in the city and moved to the country to look after their parents. Bit by bit, their lives changed, until it got to the stage where they didn't even recognise themselves anymore. Their lives were no longer about what they wanted; it was about their parents, and how they fitted in to their lives; leaving them feeling like they were trapped in a world that was like Groundhog Day; same stories being repeated over and over again. Out of their own desperation to experience life again, they begin to think of ways in which they could get people in the village talking. Once they started asking people about themselves, it was like opening up a can of worms, and they realised that they didn't really know the people who were around them, or what secrets where hiding behind their doors. They were curious to find out why Mrs Richard went to the post office every Tuesday at 11.30, but were quite shocked at the reason why. Or like the next door neighbour that they thought they knew so well; but had no idea who she was or what knowledge she had to share to them. As they say, things are never as they appear to be, and this was just the beginning of their discoveries. And what came out of an act of desperation to experience life again, turned into something pretty spectacular
About the Author: Gaynor Vine is from Swansea, and has lived there all of her life. She was a taxi driver for many years, and also worked as a sales manager, recruiting, training and promoting women. Not just in the area of sales, but also on personal development areas. She has been practicing many forms of healing, which include; spiritual healing, Reiki, and light of love healing; but her love is in storytelling and talking to people. She wants to create stories of beautiful worlds, where we can learn lessons about ourselves and remember who we are. So that we ignite our inspiration and begin to create new worlds for ourselves and our children. If you have been practicing any of the ideas that are spoken about in this book, like talking the plants, or your food, or are involved in any of these groups, she would really appreciate it if you were to post something about your experiences on her website, so that we can share these experiences with others
