Adie Hamilton's lifelong dream of joining a prestigious archaeological excavation in Egypt is finally realised when she lands a spot on maverick professor Killian Carmichael's team. However, Adie quickly realises her brilliant but grumpy boss has little patience for her youthful enthusiasm and intuitive approach to the dig. Luckily, she forges a connection with fellow archaeologist Anton Kelley, who is more than happy to indulge Adie's passions - both professional and personal. For Adie, failure is not an option - she'll stop at nothing to unearth the relic, even if it means making some ethically questionable choices.
