About the Book

Are you looking for more success in your career, business, improve your overall health and learn how to motivate yourself and others? When you read this book, you are going to learn how to overcome adversity by identifying the ability to forget is sometimes better than the ability to remember and recognize that the price of progress is the pain of change. Are you in sales? You are going to learn about the "method behind the madness" needed to climb the corporate ladder, grow your existing business, or start a new business. You eat what you kill and what you put into it is what you get out of it. You will learn how to be innovative and adapt as if you're a wolf in sheep's clothing because at the end the day, no one cares about your labor pain, they just want to see the baby particularly from the supremacy of shareholders. Results are what matter, but without a relationship, results are dismissed because people quit the boss, not the company. Do you agree? Success and failures both leave clues, and that's, you're praised in public for what you do in private. The bottom line is this; success is the best revenge. You can make excuses, or you can make things happen. This book is going to teach you about "how to improve yourself by getting 1% better" what is needed in your career and business to achieve the highest levels of Success. Strategies, stories, illustrations, and the author's personal experiences will change your life just like they changed his and helped him start his own company after operating a $150,000,000 private equity firm in gross sales annually as a top-ranked executive.
About the Author: Mr. Duong is an immigrant from Vietnam to the Philippines as a refugee with his mother at three years old and America at four years old. He was born with a disability and became an orphan at five, raised in the west side suburb of Memphis, Tennessee by his African American mom. He soon became a troubled teen, joined a gang at 13, homeless, sold drugs and stole cars at 15 and 16 years old. Patrick was forced into a shotgun wedding and got married early. He had a son at 18 and a daughter at 20 years old. Two days after turning 18, Patrick went to work in sales in the Health and Wellness industry. He became the youngest General Manager making six figures at 19 and the most successful General Manager in the company out of hundreds by 21 years old. Patrick would eventually spearhead a $150,000,000 operation and was promoted as the youngest Vice President in company history at 25 years old & Senior Vice President at 28 years old. Patrick had reach success with making a million dollar by 25 and two million dollars by 30. He contributed to growing the organization from 70 locations to 600 locations. Patrick left the health industry at 30 years old to invest in a business venture with a friend. Unfortunately, he failed and was ripped off by the friend for every dime and went broke. Even though he had lost everything, he was still determined and decided to build a start-up company (Talent Evaluation Group - a private equity consulting firm) with the last penny and became an entrepreneur. He gave himself one option, and that was all-in! Today, Patrick's vision is to help and work with as many people as possible. Particularly youth, teen, millennial, and those in sales and leadership.
