"DL Communications Hawaii"
In 1991, DL Communications (Dolphin Love Communications), a non-profit organization providing information about dolphins and the environment, was founded in Tokyo, Japan by Yurika Nozaki.
Its main focus was to highlight issues involbing dolphins in aquariums, dolphin fishing and healing effects reported by many people that have spend time with dolphins.
As the organization grew to become a full time occupation for Yurika, she began to facilitate workshops in Japan, the Bahamas and Hawaii.
The workshops provided a safe space in which participants could learn how to take control of their lives, reduce stress, live their dreams and experience for themselves the joy and healing of being with the dolphins.
Several successful books published in Japanese allowed many people that could not attend her workshops to person-ally hear Yurika's message.
"Yurika had a dream."
She wanted to live in Hawaii and create special place of transformation.
A place of beauty and peace.
A place where people could re-awaken to their joy away from the worries of everyday life.
A place where they would be supported in growing and making life changing decisions as they relaxed and had fun.
In 2002, she moved to the Big Island of Hawaii and began the task of making it all happen.
Another dream came true for Yurika in 2001 when she met and married Dale McLaughlin, a man that also shared her vision to create a place for healing and transformation.
One day while they were exploring the beautiful country-side about 40 minutes south of Kona on the West coast of the Big Island, they detoured up a driveway to buy some Kona Coffee and found the perfect place to bring their dream into reality.
DreamLand Farm is 10 acres of paradise with lush Kona Coffee trees. They have a panoramic view of coast line where we they meet with dolphins daily. They "bought the farm" in August 2002 to set up home and create DL Communications Hawaii.
DreamLand farm provides accommodations for Groups, Families and for Retreats in the powerful Energy of the Big Island and warm Aloha.
Now, Yurika is living peacefully at DreamLand farm with Dale, her three stray cats and one stray dog all that came with the coffee farm. Enjoying the slow life, producing 100% Kona Coffee, conducting workshops, massage trainings, and writing has truly been a dream come true for her.
