About the Book

In A Dog at the Master's Table, the author and her pet Yorkie take you through a dining experience you will not soon forget. Ever have one of those dog days you do not know how to handle? If you are like just about everyone, you have, and you may have wished for help in getting through it all successfully. Kim Tipton Brewer and her charming little Yorkshire terrier, Belinda Belle, come to the rescue with a lighthearted, faith-based approach to managing all sorts of life's difficult moments. From the little woes and worries to heavier topics like the death of a loved one, this book provides salient succor and bountiful options for taking life's journey in stride and with grace. The allegorical framework of the book is unique, as the narrative is from the perspective of an affable animal that has had to manage her share of troublesome times. Belinda Belle has an invitation for you if you are willing to accept. The invitation is to a dinner with the Lord. The menu consists of the tasty tidbits and nuggets of wisdom that abound in the Book of Psalms. With appropriate passages, the precocious pup offers chapter after chapter of situations and solutions. There are many scriptural tools with which it is possible to overcome the obstacles of life bolstered by reinvigorated strength and wisdom. The main theme always circles back to the love of God for his people, and that with trust in him all things are possible.
About the Author: Author Kim Tipton Brewer and her sweet dog, Belinda, have been sharing their daily lives and their love for others for quite some time on Belinda's popular Facebook page. The book A Dog at the Master's Table is the logical conclusion to a life spent loving and observing dogs and learning about the Lord through them. The author works in the insurance field, runs a successful part time eBay business, and is the author of the Christian blog Comfortable Words. She is a member of a Free Will Baptist church, and enjoys studying scripture, reading Christian books, and writing. Brewer has owned several senior aged dogs and it is through observing how they relate to her, their caregiver, that she has come to learn how humans should relate to God.
