I have a "donut" dilemma. I am falling in love with two men ... or maybe just one ... I don't know yet.
You see, it all started when I took my five-year-old firecracker little sister Maddie to her favorite donut bakery. I had an overprotective panic attack, spilled my drink, tried to snatch her out of harms way, only to be yanked in the opposite direction, which caused me to slip and bust my butt.
Lying on the floor spread eagle staring up at the ceiling wishing there was a rock to crawl under while Time shifted to grandma mode. Maddie turned into a hellion to protect me and attacked. The man became a matador in a bullfight but the bull kicked him so hard he hopped out. The bull in the bakery retreats to the safety of a chair and hides behind it. Still in grandma mode, a small wall of ice cold water headed for me, apparently someone thought I fainted, and I see laughing eyes on an extremely handsome face, slam my eyes shut, and became the one contestant in a wet t-shirt contest. Gasping, scaring Her Royal Highness, the Queen screams, throws herself on top of me, knocking the remaining air out, and I groan louder than a whore on PornHub. Then her order arrives, hovering over our heads, and the Queen takes her throne to receive her reward.
A towel drops, and I'm helped to my feet by the extremely handsome man who is staring at my headlights on high-beams. He tells me, it's good to see me again, but I don't have a clue who he is, but it turns out, I met him the night before while I was stoned and drunk at the graduation party. So I pretended to remember him, thank him, and he left.
Now fast forward an hour to when Maddie and I are in the park. She's on the slide terrorizing the little boys trying to kiss her, when I get a flirty text from an unknown number. The dude's funny, teasing me about my accident in the donut shop, but he's coy and won't tell me who he is. Therefore, I assume he is the extremely handsome hottie, so I flirt back.
In the meantime, I get a text from Do Donuts informing me to show up for work the next day.
When I arrive and meet my new boss, my jaw drops open. He's a former Navy SEAL who is
nothing short of delicious, and it occurs to me, HE could be the mystery man texting me.
So that's my dilemma. Which dude am I flirting with? The handsome hottie I've learned since is a doctor? Or, the extraordinary stud I work for, who I'm drooling over?
I need to figure out who the dirty, flirty dude is fast because I'm falling head over heels for him, and my dang donut needs doing!
