In Anbetracht der Aktualität des Diversity-Diskurses erscheint eine Darstellung aktueller Diversity-Strategien von interkulturellen und mehrsprachigen Unternehmen als notwendig. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, Implementierungs-und Umsetzungsstrategien von Diversity-Management aus verschiedenen Unternehmen abzubilden, diese miteinander zu vergleichen und zu beurteilen, welche Strategien in welchem Kontext bevorzugt Anwendung finden. Zur Illustration dienen in dieser Arbeit vier Beispiele aus Unternehmen verschiedener Branchen. Diese betreffen die Automobilindustrie mit dem Beispiel der Ford Motor Company, die Pharmazie- und Konsumgüterbranche anhand des Unternehmens Johnson & Johnson, das Finanzwesen mit der Organisation Mastercard sowie die Flugindustrie mit der deutschen Fluggesellschaft Lufthansa. Das Thema der Vielfalt hat in den letzten Jahren deutlich an Relevanz gewonnen und ist auch unter dem Begriff Diversity bekannt. Darunter versteht sich die menschliche Vielfalt in allen erdenklichen Merkmalen und Eigenschaften. Besonders häufig findet der Begriff im kulturellen, geschlechtsbezogenen und sexuellen Kontext Verwendung. Diversity kann sogar als Bewegung betrachtet werden. So finden beispielsweise aktuell auf der ganzen Welt immer mehr sogenannte Pride- oder Black-Lives-Matter-Veranstaltungen statt. Der Diversity-Diskurs ist heutzutage zunehmend in etlichen Lebensbereichen wiederzufinden, weshalb eine kontinuierliche Erforschung dieses Themas von großer Bedeutung für die Gesellschaft ist.
