About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A young girl lost in a Europe that's at war, and her mother's journey to find her; this is a moving story about World War II.

Then, in front of Mathilde, a glance was enough for him to realize that there was nothing he could do for her. Mathilde moved her arm, took out a photograph from her pocket and whispered, Tell Marie that I love her. Paul put the girl's picture away and kissed Mathilde's face. From that moment on, nothing would ever be the same.

Jacinto Rey constructs a novel which displays a tapestry of stories carried out by human beings beaten by a war that pushes them to their core. Actions and emotions come together to give meaning to the writer's words, which are the driving force of an emotional search.
About the Author: Jacinto Rey nació en Vigo (España) en 1972.
