About the Book

This is a Very Beautiful Romantic Novel consisting of approximately 140000 words. Dignity and Preconception is a romantic novel of manners written by Avneet Kumar. This book tries to give various lessons and shows one bigger, more broad lesson that applies to numerous difficulties throughout everyday life: the significance of knowing yourself and what you need, and staying consistent with your standards, in any event, when it is simple or practical to go an alternate way.One of the main message which this book tries to give is regarding "LOVE AND MARRIAGE". Love is the Central Theme of this book. Specifically, the novel spotlights on the various ways love may develop or vanish, and whether society has space for sentimental love and union with go together. In this book Olivia Smith is the protagonist, and the major conflict revolved around her struggle to find a compatible husband despite the obstacles presented by both social conventions and her own lack of self-awareness.The novel follows the character advancement of Olivia Smith, the dynamic hero of the book who finds out about the repercussions of hurried decisions and comes to value the distinction between shallow goodness and real goodness. Its amusingness lies in its legit portrayal of habits, instruction, marriage, and money during the Regency time in Great Britain. Mr. Smith of Longbourn home has five daughters, however, his property is involved and must be passed to a male beneficiary. His wife additionally does not have a legacy, so his family will be desperate upon his demise. Along these lines, it is basic that at any rate one of the young ladies marry well to help the others, which is an inspiration that drives the plot. The novel rotates around the significance of wedding for affection, not for money or social esteem, regardless of the mutual strain to make a wealthy match. When Olivia goes to see Lily, Mr. Darcy finds himself becoming attracted to Olivia (stating she has "fine eyes"), while Miss Bingley grows jealous, as she herself has designs on Mr. Darcy.Mr. Collins, Mr. Bennet's cousin, and the heir to the Longbourn estate visits the Bennet family. Olivia and her family meet the dashing and charming army officer, George Wickham, who singles out Olivia. He says he is connected to the Darcy family and claims Mr. Darcy deprived him of occupation (a permanent position as a clergyman in a prosperous parish with good revenue) promised to him by Mr. Darcy's late father. At the ball at Netherfield, Mr. Darcy asks Olivia to dance, and, despite her vow never to dance with him, she accepts. After Olivia 's rejection, Mr. Collins proposes to Charlotte Lucas, a sensible young woman and Olivia 's friend. Olivia and her hosts are invited to Rosings Park, the imposing home of Lady Amelia de Bourgh, imperious patroness of Mr. Collins and Mr. Darcy's wealthy aunt. Fitzwilliam tells Olivia how Mr. Darcy recently saved a friend, presumably Bingley, from an undesirable match. Olivia realizes the prevented engagement was to Lily and is horrified that Mr. Darcy interfered. Later, Mr. Darcy gives Olivia a letter, explaining that Wickham, the son of his late father's steward, had refused the living his father arranged for him and was instead given money for it. Mr. Darcy also writes that he separated Lily and Bingley due to Lily 's reserved behavior, sincerely believing her indifferent to Bingley, and also because of the lack of propriety of the other members of her family. They visit Pemberley, the Darcy estate (after Olivia ascertains Mr. Darcy's absence). With some veneer of decency restored, Victoria visits the family and tells Olivia that Mr. Darcy was at her and Wickham's wedding. Lady Amelia, having heard rumors that Olivia intends to marry Mr. Darcy, visits Olivia and demands she promise never to accept Mr. Darcy's proposal.
