About the Author: BERTRAND a participé aux débuts du Web. Il a démarré sa carrière en 1996 chez Club-Internet où il a lancé l'une des premières marketplaces en ligne. Il a ensuite rejoint Alcatel comme chef de produit à l'international et a lancé l'un des premiers téléphones Internet en Europe. En 2000, Bertrand prend la direction de l'activité e-commerce de plusieurs des enseignes du groupe Kering (ex PPR) et contribue aux lancements d'une vingtaine de sites e-commerce dans le monde. Il devient ensuite responsable marketing client de Celio, et décroche pour la marque le Grand Prix Stratégie 2006 et le prix Phoenix UDA, grâce au programme de marketing relationnel de Celio. Il rejoint plus tard la maison Cerruti en tant que Chief Marketing Officer, puis occupe le poste de Chief Digital Officer au sein d'Altares. Fort d'une expérience marketing, communication, CRM et digitale, au sein de secteurs complémentaires (luxe, mode, distribution, digital...), Bertrand est aujourd'hui consultant indépendant et intervient auprès de marques de mode ainsi que dans le secteur du luxe. Il a fondé Les Brigades du Marketing. Il est également le créateur du collectif de consultants indépendants spécialisés en mode, luxe, beauté, design et création: les indé-modables, à découvrir sur www.lesindemodables.com. Bertrand est diplômé de l'Executive MBA de l'Institut Français de la Mode (IFM). Il a enseigné le marketing et a animé des séminaires consacrés au digital à l'IFM, en écoles de commerce, en écoles de mode et à l'université. Il est aussi l'auteur du Journal de BJ au bureau, aux Editions Maxima, traduit en Chinois et en Coréen, et de Managing Softly traduit en japonais et en brésilien. Son ouvrage, intitulé Mode & Internet: Le marketing épinglé, consacré à la rencontre de la mode et d'Internet, est à découvrir sur www.mode-et-internet.com. Son quatrième livre, publié en français et en anglais, s'intitule Les dessous du Web et connait un destin singulier comme le relate hebdomadairement le magazine en ligne Frenchweb qui en propose des extraits.
