The digital grave is the death you die before actually dying in real life, the neglect of our real lives, loss of the concept of time: the distortion of our relationships, neglecting of our health, not even noticing the years passing by, and the lack of progression in our lives because of the misconception that improving who you are online is the same as improving your life in general, which in this book we debunk, this one-sided and biased way of viewing life leaves one part of you dying away while the other is left standing at the expense of the other, sadly the one that dies is the one living in reality, the one you need to survive. The book focuses on the fight between the two personas, your online persona and your real-life persona, with all the social media platforms doing their absolute best to retain as much of our attention as possible, I saw a need for a book like this and so, here it is.

This book takes an entirely different approach to dealing with and navigating through social media, it will not simply advise you to stop using social media cold turkey like most books I've read, that method will almost always result in a relapse, but instead, it hopes to reverse engineer the effects social media has over you by highlighting that social media is a tool in life and not a substitute for your real life, the book breaks down overwhelming life changes to their simplest form.
In a nutshell, the better your real life, the less you need to live online exclusively.

This book will be divided into 3 parts

Part 1 will cover all light and obvious things about social media, it's almost like I'm venting about the obvious things you'd find on social media, something like a random conversation between friends but, bear with me, there's more to it.
Part 2 is where we will collect all the tools needed for part 3 of this book; consider it the part of the book where you get a better understanding of why you might find yourself online even when there's nothing there for you, why you keep logging in even when social media drains you, information is the key tool in this book.
Part 3 will be the steps needed to get to our objective; all information will seem scattered in the beginning but will be refocused and narrowed down to steps that will reference the first 2 parts of the book, all steps will come with some troubleshooting just in case you find yourself in a tight spot doing one of the steps,
I don't promise a quick fix but you'll find that this method is more effective than most that offer a quick fix without acknowledging that habits are linked to the character you've built for yourself thus far, this book will scrutinize that character

oh yes, and I might have said the words "fuck" and "shit" throughout the book just so you know, but that's nothing you haven't already heard before if you've been on social media, I decided I won't bother fake who I am, you might as well know how I really am since I'll be advising you.
