About the Book

The adoption of internet banking and digitisation within institutions also brought with it challenges such as phishing and hacking among others where cybercriminals who sometimes masquerade as being representatives from the banks defraud unsuspecting and naïve customers who unwittingly give out their banking login details to fraudsters who will transfer their money to their own accounts.
About the Author: Dr. Rabelani Dagada is a professor of practice in 4IR at the University of Johannesburg's Postgraduate School of Engineering Management. Prior to this, he served as a lecturer of Knowledge and Information Systems Management at the Wits Business School for just over ten years. He was the inaugural winner of 2008 ICT Visionary Award bestowed on 05 November 2008 by the IITPSA in conjunction with ITWeb, and Gordon Institute of Business Science and Gartner Africa. On 12 November 2015, he was awarded the IITPSA fellowship in acknowledgement for his "extraordinary contribution to the Institute and the ICT profession through selfless service by bestowing the honour of being a Fellow of the Institute." As an entrepreneur, Dagada has established several companies; these include a fund manager company which is registered an authorised financial services provider.
