About the Book

"What Difference Does It Make?!" describes what many people are simply ignorant about, when it comes to law. Ever since after the American Civil War, our national government was reorganized as a corporation, or a more softer and deceptive term; a democracy, which prompted the addition of the 14th Amendment to our Constitution. Essentially, this particular Amendment changed the status of every American then and forever from being sovereign Citizens of their respective States to be "Federalized" into U.S. citizens. If you have not already noticed, sovereign State citizenship is spelled with a capital "C" and U.S. citizen is spelled with a small "c". The difference is not as subtle as one might expect. It is this distinction that means you are either a sovereign or a slave. In law, words mean everything, and as just for one example the word "is". In matters of law, this particular word can have 17 different meanings, for which Bill Clinton was absolutely correct when he stated, "It all depends what the word "is" is." Another example are the words "of" and "for". Again, there a distinct difference as to who is the owner of the Constitution! The organic title was; "The Constitution for the United States", but between 1868 and 1871, this was changed to read; "The Constitution of the United States", for which is etched in stone in Washington D.C. The word "for" means it was "We The People" who were the depicted owner of said document. The word "of" means that it is the government of the United States who now has possession. The cover of this book aptly describes the contents, so at least in this case you can judge a book by its cover! This is a caricature is of "Lady Justice", but as you can see with some changes that aptly describe our current system of law. The more overt observation, shows how bias our system of law has overcome the constitutional venue. Lady Justice also has her left eye peeking from under the blindfold, which means that justice is no longer blind! The blood on the sword is no longer touching the ground, but raised up and dripping with the blood of those who were sacrificed, in order to maintain "The Matrix". Mark-Edward: DeBarbieri, RM
About the Author: About the Author... At 62 years of age, Mark-Edward: DeBarbieri, RM has reached an unprecedented, but well earned pinnacle in his life. Circumstances, situations and events have shaped and formed him in ways that were unforeseen. In addition to his training as a mechanical draftsman from a technical high school, he has an innate propensity for research and in the past 14 years cultivated a talent for writing, for which one result is this book, as well as a number of other yet unpublished books. He never married and was never able to have children. This left Mark the ability to travel unfettered and make a home whenever, or wherever he discovered an opportunity. This brought him to Virginia, New-Mexico, Tennessee and then back to his home State of Connecticut and for at least the time being is handling some family matters. However, once these matters are completed, he will be heading back to his favorite location... New-Mexico. For the most part, Mark has an inborn talent for anything having to do with the construction trades-all of them! He worked for a builder. His boss moved to the Pacific Northwest and Mark could not turn down an invitation to move to Virginia, where he was of extreme use to a businessman, for who was also his housemate. The now late Jim Hazel had a truck parts business, for which Mark's flexibility as an organizer, easily fitting in as if he belonged there. Anything that was handed to Mark was completed; from remaking brake shoes to computerizing the office accounting, when prior to Mark's arrival, computerizing the accounting was tried and failed. This was in addition to all the construction Mark completed; house addition; a 28 X 70 storage barn; office space; various storage projects for more efficient use of space, effectively opening up two bays that Jim rented out. During all this time, Mark was in contact with David Lienau from New-Mexico. When Mark's usefulness dwindled, along with some fundamental disagreements, Mark returned to Connecticut until David Lienau was ready for him. Once in New-Mexico, Mark acclimated to the Southwest like a duck to water. This is where Mark's 16 years in New-Mexico finalized his education in matters of research, writing, the Bible, history, law, peripheral issues, health matters, dancing, cooking, baking, house sitting, housekeeping, party host, in addition to a number of construction projects. For all these accomplishments, Mark felt he earned the "RM" (Renaissance Man) title.
