English summary: The base of the outer wall of the sanctuary in the Horus Temple of Edfu depicts what is perhaps the most important and most detailed geographical procession in ancient Egypt, the key parts of which are known also from a number of papyrus documents. This study, completed as part of the Heidelberg Academy project Der Tempel als Kanon der religiosen Literatur Agyptens (the temple as a canon of religious literature in Egypt), provides the first complete translation and detailed annotation of the res sacrae of the forty-two ancient Egyptian administrative regions organized in eighteen categories, which were regarded throughout the country as providing the main characteristics of ancient cult topography. Since, due in part to its delicate state, the body of the text could still not be regarded as having been securely recorded despite the existence of several edited collections, Mareike Wagner produced facsimiles of all the reliefs and their inscriptions based on photographs provided by the French Institute in Cairo (IFAO). In addition, the volume contains a new edition of the geographical papyrus from Tanis, which thanks to modern multispectral imaging provides numerous improved reproductions of the completely carbonized papyrus. German description: An der Auaenwand des Sanktuars des Horustempels von Edfu befindet sich im Sockelbereich (Soubassement) die vielleicht wichtigste und detailreichste geographische Prozession Altagyptens, deren wesentliche Inhalte auch durch einige Papyrusversionen bekannt sind. Die vorliegende - im Rahmen des Heidelberger Akademieprojekts Der Tempel als Kanon der religiosen Literatur Agyptens - erstellte Studie enthalt eine erstmalige vollstandige Ubersetzung und ausfuhrliche Kommentierung der in 18 Kategorien eingeteilten res sacrae der 42 altagyptischen Gaue (Verwaltungseinheiten), die im ganzen Land als die wesentlichen Charakteristika der antiken Kulttopographie angesehen wurden. Beispiele fur diese Kategorien sind die Namen der Hauptstadt, der dort aufbewahrten Osirisglieder, der jeweiligen Priesterinnen und Priester, der heiligen Barke und der heiligen Baume und Schlangen sowie die Daten der dort gefeierten Lokalfeste und verschiedener geographischer Einheiten. Da der Textbestand trotz mehrfacher Editionen aufgrund seines teilweise prekaren Erhaltungszustandes immer noch nicht als gesichert gelten konnte, wurden alle Reliefs mit ihren Inschriften von Mareike Wagner anhand von Photographien faksimiliert, die vom franzosischen Institut in Kairo (Ifao) bereitgestellt wurden. Zusatzlich enthalt der Band eine Neuedition des geographischen Papyrus Tanis, die aufgrund moderner Multispektralaufnahmen zahlreiche verbesserte Lesungen des vollstandig karbonisierten Papyrus enthalt.
