Im Alltag müssen wir ständig verschiedenste und auch in der Wichtigkeit variierende Entscheidungen treffen - sei es beim Einkaufen von Lebensmitteln oder das Anlegen von Geld anhand Aktienkauf. Meist wird die Antwort auf viele Arten von Problemen von dem schnellen Denken - das intuitives Denken - geleitet. Das schnelle und unmittelbare Denken hierbei umfasst 'das Urteilen aus dem Bauch heraus'. Im Normalfall reflektieren wir Menschen unsere Entscheidung nicht und projizieren auch nicht den individuellen Lösungsweg wieder, den man jeweils einschlug. Dabei setzen Individuen sich infolgedessen nicht mit der Frage auseinander, welche spezifischen Operatoren für das Bewältigen einer Herausforderung angewendet wurden. In dieser Hausarbeit werden diese Frage und der Begriff der Heuristik ausführlich und umfassend erklärt. Daraus resultierend setzen wir uns alltäglich mit einigen Fragen auseinander, die eine Wahrscheinlichkeitsaussage und oftmals auch eine kurzfristige Antworte abverlangen. Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie sehen einem Mann mittleren Alters beim Betreten in ein Zeitschriften-Geschäft zu. Dieser trägt sichtlich erkennbar einen teuren Anzug mit einem Manschettenknopf, der eine Luxusmarke abbildet, sowohl als auch eine Krawatte und einen Aktenkoffer in seiner Hand. Was denken Sie, was für eine Zeitschrift dieser Mann kauft? Zur Auswahl stehen die FAZ - eine bekannte Wirtschaftszeitschrift - oder die BILD? Man assoziiert diesen Mann automatisch mit Reichtum und stempelt ihn damit auch als erfolgreich ab. Aus diesem Grund schließt man direkt den Schluss - ohne großartig darüber nachzudenken - dass dieser Herr wohl die FAZ kaufen wird.
