About the Book

English Summary: This conference volume documents the results of the 3rd Trier Library Workshop, which was held in 2009. It focuses on questions about the historical changes in medieval libraries and individual codices during the course of their history. The static aspect of libraries and manuscripts is offset by dynamic and structural changes, such as inventory changes, glosses, re-ordering, and the like. Contributions deal with, among others, the cathedral libraries in Hildesheim and Halberstadt, the scriptorium of the monastery at Arnstein, the Hebrew fragments in the municipal library of Trier, and Ekkehard V. as reader in the library of the St. Gallen monastery. German text. German Description: Der vorliegende Tagungsband dokumentiert die Ergebnisse des 3. Trierer Bibliotheksworkshops vom 19./20. Juni 2009.
